Why are the ending credits unskippable?

Or are they? Is there a way to skip them?

They are unskippable. I looked around online. Some people say you can change something in the game settings to increase speed, but unskippable it seems.
I just finished playing the game and thought the same thing. At least the credits played in the background as I was alt+tabbed

The good thing is that it is a small developer team. In Assassins Creed Unity, you have to wait almost 30 minutes until the credits are over.

becuse you spent time playing it, so you should spend a small amount of time just seeing all the people involved. Its only fair. Same goes for moives.
