Should I buy Zero Parades?
How is Zero Parades? Is it a good game? How do its story, writing, characters and music compare to Disco Elysium? Should I buy it now? Thank you.

Do you care about the money going to a thief who stole the company who made this game?

You didn't answer my questions. Read the post again.
It was good enough for me to give Disco Elysium another shot. DE never clicked with me before but after playing ZP I feel like I "get it" now
I’ve heard good things about Parades, mostly people saying it’s really well done but not the same sort of vibe as Disco. I’ve tried getting into Parades a few times now, but the story just isn’t…’clicking’ for me. I’ve started it three separate times, made it a few hours in, and was just disinterested. But from talking to other people who’ve played it, it sounds worth another shot for me; apparently it’s just a slow burn at first. I’d say give it a shot, just don’t expect Disco’s humor.

I thought that buying something is opposite of stealing.
Zero parades is a great game. Gonna give DE another go after I finish ZP.
I didn't buy it because I couldn't stand by what they did. It is a nightmare situation for creatives.
Zero Parades is a great game. I think DE is better but it's still totall worth playing.

ZA/UM are bastards for what they did with the creators, and for laying off a huge chunk of their workers after the game released.

Do what you will with this information.
If we ignore background of ZP, I still think it's a meh game, it tries hard to be Disco, but don't understand what makes Disco great.

Get Ebb instead.

By the way, who are you voting for in the upcoming elections?

It's a fantastic game with great characters, strong thematic narratives, and a great critique on the chaotic human experience. If you like DE, you will like ZP. I do not want to spoil anything, but if you see it on sale I highly recommend it.

Esoteric Ebb struggles with a lot, it's definitely an indie game and you can feel "that" part about the game throughout your playthrough. Is it a bad game, I wouldn't say so. But it is far behind in polish that DE or ZP presents players with, and that's saying something.

I really love parts of Esoteric Ebb but the writing felt... flat I guess? I think it would be a better game if they removed the whole election subplot. They basically threw modern world western poltiical parties into a D&D setting but it felt kind of silly. It felt like it was written by someone who gets their politics from youtube video essays (but then maybe that's most people now) instead of someone with a deeper understanding of the condiitions in which those ideologies developed, or someone with a grounded experience in politics that comes from real-world organizing.

Well, I feel the opposite, I like how Ebb mixes real world with classic DND.

Btw who are you voting for in the upcoming elections?
