Having changed handles for the shift to Tumblr, it occurs to me that I'm not sure what to call my wife. "Mrs. Jester" doesn't have quite the children's classic character ring to it of "Mrs. Porcupine." At any rate, I've realized that my beloved, who got a much better job recently, went a bit overboard with my holiday present. And while I did spend a decent amount on hers (which I gave her early and I know she loves, because it was a geeky blanket scarf I wanted her to have for the cold weather), I now feel I underdid it. So I ordered a second present... only to find out after pressing "finalize order" that it won't arrive until mid-January. Darn it. Well, at least my gifts will have an average arrival time around Christmas.
