Title: Play It By Ear
Author: Ragna (afteriwake)
Rating: PG
Classification: Danny Messer & Buffy Summers
Summary: The scientist in him does not want to hear what he's hearing, but he can't deny what he saw.
Spoilers: Set in a Buffyverse/CSIverse AU; roughly S2 in CSI: NY
Disclaimer: If you don't recognize it, chances are it's my own creation. If you do, I don't own it. Joss Whedon, Kazui Sandollar, The WB, UPN, et. al. most likely do for the Buffyverse stuff and Anthony Zuiker, Jerry Bruckheimer, CBS, Alliance Atlantis, et. al. do with the CSIverse stuff.
Authors Notes: New fic! The entire first part was written as a response to a First Kiss meme, and scarletts_awry asked for it.

Rating: PG
Classification: Winifred "Fred" Burkle/Greg Sanders
Summary: Fred gets a whole new life in Las Vegas...and a whole new chance at normalcy.

Disclaimer: If you don't recognize it, chances are it's my own creation. If you do, I don't own it. Joss Whedon, Kazui Sandollar, The WB, UPN, et. al. most likely do for the Buffyverse stuff and Anthony Zuiker, Jerry Bruckheimer, CBS, Alliance Atlantis, et. al. do with the CSIverse stuff.

aaronlisa and I have talked and we're revamping things. We're still working out the details but some of the stories already posted will be deleted. We're going to change the basis of the series (there will still be Greg/Fred, Nick/Faith and Ryan/Willow, plus the new ship of Danny/Buffy), and they are as follows:
- Primarily, I will be writing NY and she will be writing Miami, and we will both write Vegas.
- In our series, BtVS went all the way through S7 while A:tS went AU at the end of S3. We're being fluid with the CSI shows, though I can state NY will be at least S2 since Aiden won't be in it and Hammerback will be.
- There are three new Hellmouths opening, one in each main CSI city (Las Vegas, Miami and New York). Angel, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn are all still in LA.
There will be more specifics later, but this is a note to let you guys know we do intend on working on this series again.

starlit_desires)When Ragna and I first discussed doing this crossover series, one of the issues that we both knew we would have to deal with sooner rather than later was how ATS Season Four ended. I volunteered to tackle that part, especially since she started the ball rolling with "Geek Love." So this is how Season Four ended, keep in mind that some of the events of Season Four didn't happen, and of course somethings still happened. Feel free to give me your thoughts and your opinions on this piece. Now onto the fic....
