Is anyone using Office 2007? I can't seem to find Writing Tools in Word and PowerPoint to ink in notes. Has it been taken out completely?

Hello - I own one tablet, a "pure slate" from Motion Computing (M1400-VA). 80 gig hard drive, 1 gig ram.. yada yada.
This is great! I've been hoping a Tablet PC community would pop up in LJ :)
My tablet is completely for home/personal use -Not business. I mostly use it for reading scanned comics (sequential JPG files) and PDF books as well as for drawing.
It's an awesome machine -the only thing I'd change is the onboard speakers -they are way, WAY under my standards. I can't get enough volume out of them -even with headphones in and whatever media file turned to full blast (be it streaming internet radio, downloaded mp3s, dvd movie, whatever). Patching a powered speaker into the tablet fixes this (I use the Virgin Boomtube EX for this solution), as does jacking the tablet into a car or home stereo..
Otherwise this thing rules beyond belief..

Hello, My name is Farquhar and I am a Tablet PC user. I've been using a Tablet PC since December of--of...was it 2003?
On Tablet PC ship day, I ordered my Compaq TC1000. Yep. Before HP and Compaq merged. Anyway, nearly everyday since then I have used this wee, underpowered beast. Trails, tribulations, disappointments but generally satisfaction are mine.
I wailed to the earth and the worms when I realized the limitation of the Transmeta CPU and the FinePoint digitizer and saw the power in my breathrens hands as they ran and skipped over the CPU cycles of their Toshiba convertables with the Intel chips and the Watcom digitizers.
I wailed against they sky and the clouds (for wailing to Microsoft produced no satisfaction) over the hobbled function of the new TIP when the SP changed the world.
Yet I am of the tribe of the slate and I will not be converted until generation five comes out and a new slate captures my eye for convertable I am not!
