[info]tales_ficathon is a fic- (and as of round 2, art) challenge community for the Tales series. Basically, I collect prompts from comm members, who can then sign up to write/draw said prompts. This is how it works:
1. Prompt submission (Two weeks, from July 1 to July 15) - A screened post will be set up where members can comment with their prompts (basically characters/pairing plus some element or situation to incorporate into fic/art) to be collected. Anyone may contribute prompts, and you may contribute as many as you like.
2. Prompt claiming (Two weeks, from July 16 to July 31) - Members 'claim' prompts that they will work on during the writing period, to be completed by the due date.
3. Writing period (Ten weeks, from August 1 to October 15) - Members write! Or, uh, draw. Work submitted must be at least--I believe the typical standard for this is 500 words/cleaned-up pencil sketch. So yes. :D
