Prediction market promo codes have become one of the most searched sign-up terms in US sports and finance apps this year, as Kalshi, Polymarket US, Novig and ProphetX compete for new traders with credits and referral rewards. A promo or referral code attaches your new account to one of those offers, usually trading credit that unlocks after a deposit or a set amount of trading. The value varies a lot, and so do the rules about when you can enter a code and whether the reward can ever be withdrawn.
This hub compares the official October 2026 offers from the main US prediction markets and exchange-style sports apps, plus the daily fantasy pick’em and social apps people often compare them with. Each brand has its own detailed guide. Two caveats apply everywhere: offers vary by state and change often, and the terms inside your own account always beat any summary, including ours.
The code box above lists the current codes we have verified for each platform, where one is active. Below, we explain what each code actually unlocks.
Key takeaways
- Federally regulated prediction markets pay in trading credit, not cash. Credit can collateralize trades, and profits usually become withdrawable once positions settle.
- The clearest fixed offers in October 2026: Novig pays $50 in Trade Credits on a $10 deposit, and ProphetX pays $75 in three installments after $50 of trades.
- Kalshi and Polymarket US tie amounts to the offer or campaign. Kalshi gives you 72 hours after sign-up to add a code; Polymarket US requires it at onboarding.
- Timing matters more than the code. Most rewards depend on a deadline, a price cap or a “use it before the next installment” rule.
- Age and state rules differ: Novig is 21+, Fliff’s prize side is closed in 20 states, and several states are fighting sports event contracts in court.

The Prediction Markets: Kalshi, Polymarket US, Novig and ProphetX
Kalshi
Kalshi is the broadest US prediction market, with event contracts on economics, politics, technology, culture and sport. Its Referral Program FAQ says reward amounts vary by offer, “up to” figures are maximums, and rewards are often trading credit that may need to be traded before withdrawal. Kalshi’s most useful rule for new users is the 72-hour window: if you forget to enter a code at sign-up, you can add it later through Explore, the menu, Your rewards and “Have a code?”, as long as no code is attached yet. Referral offers are limited to eligible US users.
Polymarket US
Polymarket US, run by the CFTC-registered exchange QCX LLC, is separate from the international Polymarket site, which US residents can only use to close old positions. On Polymarket US, a referral code is the referrer’s username and must be entered at onboarding. Its filed terms show the qualifying deposit is fixed per campaign between $10 and $200, credits cannot be withdrawn and can expire within 1 to 30 days, and referred users cannot also take the separate deposit welcome offer. From November 2, 2026 a trading requirement and a deadline are added for referred users. The international site’s referral programme is link-based and only pays the sharer, after $10,000 of their own lifetime volume.
Novig
Novig is a sports-only exchange that became a CFTC designated contract market in 2026, after years as a sweepstakes app. Its New Member Deposit Program, live since October 1, 2026, pays $50 in Trade Credits on a $10 deposit, as five $10 credits usable one per trade on contracts priced at 60 cents or less, within 30 days. Its “Give $50, Get $25” referral programme, live since October 22, gives the friend the $50 and the referrer five $5 credits, for up to five friends. Novig is 21+ and unavailable in Arizona, Michigan and Nevada. Pre-game straight trades carry no fee.
ProphetX
ProphetX, approved by the CFTC in June 2026 as both an exchange and a clearing house, offers “Trade $50, Get $75”. New users who make $50 of opening trades at 80 cents or below within 30 days of approval get $25 within a day, then $25 on day 7 and $25 on day 14, provided each previous installment has been fully used. Each $25 expires 45 days after it lands, and bonus funds become withdrawable once the positions they backed settle. Straight trades pay 2% of net gains per market. ProphetX has not published user refer-a-friend terms.
The Fantasy, Pick’em and Social Alternatives
Many people searching for prediction market codes are really comparing all the apps that let them back sports outcomes without a traditional sportsbook. These sit under different legal frameworks, so their offers work differently.
- Fliff is a social sportsbook. Fliff Coins are play money with no prize value; Fliff Cash is a sweepstakes entry that can be redeemed for prizes after play and identity checks. Fliff Cash is excluded in 20 states, and referrals earn XP that Fliff says can be redeemed for gift cards.
- PrizePicks is a daily fantasy pick’em app where you choose more or less on player stats. State fantasy rules decide where and how it operates.
- Underdog started in fantasy pick’em and in July 2026 launched prediction markets on its own CFTC-licensed exchange inside the same app, after buying a registered exchange earlier in the year.
- Betr runs Betr Picks, a pick’em fantasy product, and announced in 2026 a partnership with Polymarket to add prediction markets to its app.
- Sleeper is a season-long and daily fantasy app with a pick’em product, and has pursued federal registration to offer prediction markets.
- Dabble is a pick’em fantasy app built around player stat picks, with its own state footprint and new-player terms.
- Sporttrade built an exchange-style sports trading app under state betting licences, then wound that platform down in June 2026 while its CFTC application is reviewed.
Each of those has its own guide, linked in the comparison table, with the current official terms.
How Referral Codes Work on Prediction Markets
Federally regulated exchanges cannot just hand out bonuses at will. Under CFTC rules, an exchange like Kalshi, Polymarket US, Novig or ProphetX self-certifies its incentive programmes, and the documents are often public. That explains the precise, sometimes awkward, wording of the terms, and it explains several features that show up across almost every platform:
- Trading credit instead of cash. The reward collateralizes new positions. You cannot withdraw the credit, but winnings from it usually settle as normal funds.
- Uniform terms. Polymarket US’s filing states that referral codes confer no preferential terms. Within a campaign, one code is worth the same as another.
- Price caps. Novig limits credits to contracts at 60 cents or less and ProphetX counts trades at 80 cents or less. Both stop users from parking bonus money on near-certain outcomes.
- Short expiry windows. From one day on some Polymarket US campaigns to 45 days per ProphetX installment.
- Referral caps. Novig allows five referrals; Polymarket US’s cap will range from 5 to 50 friends from November 2026.
- Two-sided rewards with conditions on both sides. Novig’s referrer only gets paid after five trades and $50 at risk of their own money.
Promo code, referral code and invite code are used interchangeably by users and, increasingly, by the platforms. A promo code generally links you to a marketing campaign; a referral code or link links you to an existing customer who is rewarded too; “invite code” is usually just a referral code by another name.
When You Can Enter a Code
This is where most people lose a bonus. The rules differ by platform:
- Kalshi: at sign-up, or within 72 hours of account creation via Your rewards.
- Polymarket US: at onboarding, as the referrer’s username.
- Novig: the referral works through the referrer’s link at sign-up; the $50 welcome credits apply to eligible new members who have not traded yet.
- ProphetX and Fliff: enter any code during registration.
The safe rule everywhere is to have the code ready before you start, and to read the offer terms before your first deposit or trade.
How We Check Prediction Market Codes
Our editors only describe an offer after reading the operator’s own sources: help-centre articles, published promotion terms and, for federally regulated exchanges, filings with the CFTC. We record the date each term was published or updated. When an operator does not publish a figure publicly, as with Kalshi’s per-offer amounts, we say that rather than repeat numbers from elsewhere. We never invent codes, and we do not list codes that are not tied to a real account or campaign. Pages are re-checked when operators change their terms.
We also cover what these markets are pricing. Recent examples include the market on AI as a central midterm issue and odds on an Elon Musk political party, which show how prediction market prices respond to news.
State Rules and the Legal Picture
Prediction markets are regulated federally by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, but many states argue that sports event contracts are gambling that needs a state licence. In 2026, Nevada obtained a court order restricting Kalshi’s sports, election and entertainment contracts in the state, Novig sued New York to protect its product, and nearly two dozen states and tribal gaming authorities have gone to federal court over the issue. The result is a patchwork: Novig is closed in Arizona, Michigan and Nevada, Polymarket US is widely reported as unavailable in Nevada, and individual markets can disappear from your app depending on where you are.
Sweepstakes apps such as Fliff work under a different framework and have their own exclusions. Fantasy pick’em apps follow each state’s fantasy sports law. Always rely on the app’s location check rather than a list, ours included.
Which Offer Is Best?
It depends on how you trade. If you only want to try a sports market with a small deposit, Novig’s $10 entry point is the lowest barrier, though it is 21+. If you will trade at least $50 in your first month anyway, ProphetX pays the most in fixed terms. If you care about markets beyond sport, such as the economy, AI or elections, Kalshi and Polymarket US are the only real options, and their value depends on the offer or campaign you join. Our coverage of the Iowa playoff odds on Kalshi is a good example of how sports and news-driven markets now overlap.
Prediction Market Promo Code FAQ
Are prediction market promo codes legal?
Yes. CFTC-regulated exchanges are allowed to run incentive programmes, which they certify to the regulator. Whether you can use a platform at all depends on your state.
Can I use more than one code on the same platform?
Generally no. Kalshi allows one code per account, Polymarket US bars referred users from also taking its deposit offer, and Novig’s welcome credits cannot be combined with other promotions.
Can I withdraw prediction market bonus credit?
The credit itself, usually not. Profits from trades made with credit generally settle as ordinary funds; ProphetX lets bonus funds be withdrawn once positions settle, and Novig sets no volume requirement on proceeds from welcome credits.
Are there promo codes for existing users?
Sign-up offers are for new accounts. Existing users can earn by referring friends, and platforms post occasional account-level promotions in the app.
What age do I need to be?
It varies. Novig requires 21+. ProphetX, Polymarket US and Fliff require 18 or your state’s age of majority if higher. Kalshi’s offer terms set their own requirements.
Is a prediction market the same as a sportsbook?
No. On a prediction market you trade event contracts with other users at market prices and can sell before the event ends. A sportsbook sets fixed odds and takes the other side of your bet. Social apps like Fliff and fantasy pick’em apps are different again.
Trading event contracts and playing fantasy or sweepstakes games carries real risk, and you can lose all the money you put in. Offers vary by state and can change without notice. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
