i just thought i'd post something in the bentleys community.
well i have some updates.
be on the look out for:
-last minute backyard show for a good friend's b-day.
-new songs
-new website layout (?) courtesy of Will Gresch Bentley and Andrew Gonzalez Bentley.
-new photos featuring the band in a variety of hilarious poses and situations.

-Ron's first snobby music review for West Coast Performer.

bentleys have gotten another bit of press...

we're mentioned along with los abandoned and a couple other bands that we have nothing to do with musically but are probably tons of fun to listen to.
no show on friday at the house of brews.
the bentleys may be playing some pretty big and kick ass shows later on in the spring and in summer.
keep an eye out for major news.
if you think the san fernando valley's music scene sucks, i suggest you do something about it.

man...tonite/this morning was a release.
i feel a little more positive right now.
i took out my angst on my guitar tonite
and had a good time doing it.
thanks to everyone who showed up at the CIA this morning/last night.
i think we kicked some major ass for the packed crowd.
i seriously didn't expect anyone to show up at all tonite, and yet still, there were a bunch of people (even if they weren't all there for us).
silent gray was awesome.
mid-nite special was great.
i still feel weird when i hear people singing along to our songs. it's strange.
well...
good news. we're now playing the knitting factory on dec.8th.2003 as well, and maybe some dates in san francisco by next january. wow man, that's awesome.
all thanks to silent gray.
man i had such a good time on stage and tonite overall. i saw all the other bands and questioned if we could match up to them tonite, and i guess we did. =)
it isn't competitive it's just the sense that we played as well as some of the other bands.
man i'm getting sleepy.
