My job really pisses me off.
We now take IDs for Schedule II drugs. Cue the mass crackheads going "Uh, I don't have my driver's license with me," even though they are in their CARS in the drive-thru. They expect me to sell their shit to them anyway and get pissed when I don't. Is it not unreasonable for me to expect you to have proof that you are legally allowed to drive when you are, in fact, driving?
Speaking of the drive-thru, it continuously amazes me that people keep losing their prescriptions/cash/cards to the wind, despite the fact that there's a large, black paper clip attached to the white tray that it pushed to maybe three inches away from their faces every time they come up. How can there be so many people that can operate a motor vehicle and yet not be able to operate a paper clip? The area's windy, realize that you're not inside for three seconds and stop literally throwing your money out the window.
Also it's the start of the new year, so also cue the mass amounts of stupids not having their new insurance cards even though the vast majority of businesses deal with this stuff in late September to early October. "I didn't know I was going to get a new card!" "I don't HAVE a deductible!" "My card's always the same!" "How come you didn't tell me?"
I'm not your babysitter. Stop expecting me to show compassion for your lack of preparation.
