I'm new here! I have a poem and I hope to get some feedback!!
I'm Ally by the way and I'm sure I'll update a lot.

A Beating Red Heart
Is A Cage Of Pain
Holding In All The Feelings
Misleading Us Always

They lead us into traps
Of love and hurt
Making us wonder
What could have been different

Why does it never let go
Never letting the feelings past
It holds on to them
Making them worse with every waking hour

It tells us to feel for something
Even when we try not to
It crushes us with pain
Of things we can not have

When will the heart let us free
To have our own feelings
And to love what we want
Instead of leading us in the wrong direction

I didn’t want to go there
I didn’t want that hurt upon me
Why does it happen
To make me feel the hurt I should never had faced

It wants me to feel it
Wants me to go through the suffering hurt
Making me want to die
For what

To make me learn
Some may say
I think it wants me to know
And wants me to feel it

The blood runs through it
Filling it with life
Yet I want it to stop
Clog and go no further

Death is a wish I have
Even though it’ll never come
Not until it’s suppose to
Because that’s what the heart does

A Beating Red Heart
Is A Cage Of Pain
Holding In All The Feelings
Misleading Us Always

this is a short story i wrote years ago!
i always liked it and now i decided to put it on LJ
hope you'll like it!

POLO

i like that car.
volkswagen polo!

my first girlfriends parents had one!
it was silver and it had everything i seeked in a car!

by the looks of it it seemed small and unpractical!
well my friend, they were wrong!

a flerty tremperamental car with strenght, low consumption, security, stability...
and a cd player!!!

it had the right soul for me!

the performance was awsome, its elegance was stuning!

people usualy like to show off with their fancy, all licked up, to plasic cars!
ferraris, mercedes, bentleys..
all of them were just shinny outdoors!
noone of them could manage the city!
under the hood...
was no soul!

and then.. there was polo!
cruising elegantly thru crowdy streets, singing happily!
everybody greeted us with a smile!
everybody, including me, loved it!

in the meantime..
my girlfriend and i broke up.

but the love for the car stayed!

yes it was painfull seeing polo on the streets!

but as the time passed..
i remebered all the good things about that crazy little VW!
the funk, the figure, the crazy little smile it has..

i like that car.
volkwagen polo!

eventualy....
i'll find the right one just for me!

silver polo.

The Beginning of Something Great
by Katie

so I wrote this little story and put it on the fan fiction website, (www.fanfiction.net)
And decided to also post it on here, because no one seems to really be
doing anything! :-D Maybe it will attract more members as well... Oh
and here's my fan fiction link (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/631123/)
in case anyone's interested in my other story, "For the Love of
Hermione" its still growing. Only has 4 chapters right now but its
going to be rather long once I'm finished.

Disclaimer:
Everything Harry Potter related belongs to JK Rowling of course, I
just created the plot.

She
knew it to be true. She loved him. She loved everything about him.
She was just starting to realize this on the second to last day of
the school year.

“Harry!”
she called, she was excited to see him. She had just entered the
common room, and it looked like he was the only other person in it,
which was perfect. He was sitting next to the fireplace, reading a
book.

“Hey,
Ginny.” He said, looking up and smiling at her.

Her
stomach did a somersault. One of those happy, yet nerve racking
kinds. She walked over and sat down in the chair across from him.
“How are you, Harry?” she asked. “Oh, I’m pretty good...how
about you?” “I’m good.”

These
were the only words spoken for a few minutes. They just sat there,
gazing into each other’s eyes. She got lost in those green eyes.
They were like a whole other world. A world she wanted to be a part
of.

“Ginny,
there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a long time
now.” Were Harry’s words, which brought her back to herself and
out of those beautiful green eyes.

She
smiled slightly, and said, “what is it?”

“Well
the thing is...I don’t really know how to say this...I’ve never
done this before...” He sounded, and looked, slightly
uncomfortable.

Ginny
was pretty sure of what he was trying to say, but she wasn’t going
to say anything. She wanted to hear it from him. “Yes, Harry?”
she said.

“GinnyIthinkIloveyou.”
It sounded like it was one of the hardest he had ever had to say, and
he didn’t even say it properly. Ginny grinned brightly, and his
mumbling filled her with happiness. But she wasn’t quite satisfied.
“What was that Harry? I didn’t quite catch it, you were mumbling
a bit.” She grinned even bigger.

Harry
blushed a little, and paused for a moment. He knew she knew what he
said, but didn’t tell her that. “I...I...I love you.” he said
quietly, looking her in the eyes.

Ginny
smiled, and then Harry did too. “Oh Harry! I love you too. I think
I always have.”

They
sat there staring at each other for a few minutes, then Harry said,
“do you want to go for a walk on the grounds? Out by the lake?”
“I’d love to.” Ginny replied.

They
sat out on the bank of the lake for quite a long time. After a while,
they laid down, watching the sunset. Harry gently put his hand on
Ginny’s.

Ginny
felt like she could stay like that forever.

It
was the beginning of something great.

Thanks for reading!! leave some
comments and tell me what you thought. It's just a little one-shot
fluff thing, so I won't be too surprised if you don't fall madly in
love with it. Hehe. (meaning I could do better, like my other story,
its really good, or so I think so. XD) anyways thanks!!

Hello, has anyone read any books by Kevin Brooks? I'm pretty sure they're written more for girls, but boys could read them too if they wanted to. At least the ones I've read, which are Candy, and Lucas. They are both such awesome books and I enjoyed reading them. There are a couple more by the same author that I'd like to read, just because those two are so good. Anyway, I'm just trying to start a little bit of a discussion, but if you have anytime, I would recccommend reading those two. Kevin Brooks lives in England, thus those stories take place there. They're very super intense stories, especially Candy. Well, I suppose that's all I have for you for now. -Katie

Those of you who have stumbled across the community and joined, thank you! If you've stumbled across it and haven't joined, you should go do that. :-) Anyway, I'm hoping to get a lot of people to join so it can be more fun. Don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have any sort of question about the community. Also don't hesitate to post anything, its meant to be fun, not a contest. I think we ought to do some little activities on here as well, like "name the quote" for example. ANYONE can do a post for that at anytime. Just have fun, be creative, and write write write! :-)
