Shape Shifting Fu for a friend
Note: Practioners of this style may shift into the form of animals they emulate for the moment they use it.

Chi Style: Flexible
Default Critical: Maim, Disarm
Type: Free

1: Dog Chases Rabbit/Rabbit Eludes Dog - Dog constantly chases Rabbit, only hoping to get something to eat for itself. Dog has no master and so has chased her foe forever, only to be evaded again and again.

- Maneuver freely out of a tight space
- Add your favored Chi modifier to your Dodge and Cover ground rolls

3(1 Shuffle, 2 Strength of Chi Dodge/Cover Ground Rolls)

2: Incessant Rooster Pecks at Rat/Cowering Rat Nips Back at Rooster

Another common interaction between the species. Rat will often find himself starving not able to cultivate any food of his own, he must steal from others. Rooster is his favorite target, as his feed lays on the ground plain for him to take. Rooster may when his food back from Rat, but more often it comes down to who acts first between the two.

- Add your favored Chi Modifier to your Strike
- On a successful attack, instead of rolling damage dice, you may remove them and add them to a defense roll later in the round
- Add 3 dice of damage on a winning initiative.

4(3 Chi Modifier to Strike, 1 Transfer; Damage to Blocks, 1 +3 Damage Dice on Winning Initiative)
Flaw: +1 Off Balance - No Secondary Attack

3: Rabbit Hides from Seeking Dog in Mud/Pig Flops into Bath(3 Points)

Previous encounters with Dog had taught Rabbit where to hide from her. Both animals have prestigious fur and are loathe to get it dirty, but out of necessity for survival, Rabbit hides in Pig's mud. Always one step behind her old foe, Dog breaks its pride in order to eat, entering the mud. Both however, are equally disappointed to see Pig highdiving into the mud to take his bath.

-Make an Area attack within your favorite Chi rating in yards, centered around you.
-Add your favored Chi modifier to your attack.
-On a critical success, your opponents are blinded by the cloud created from your attack.

7(3 Area Attack, 2 Strength of Chi Attack, Critical Success: Blind) Weakness: - One Chi Aura Die +2

4: Horse, Ox and Sheep Defend the Field from Tiger(4)

The three animals that graze together look after eachother, none all too concerned with petty competitions for food as Dog, Rabbit, Rat, or Rooster. If they are starving, they take from the infinitely giving land. Ox stubbornly protects Sheep, enrapted by the beauty of his coat. Horse is simply too frivilous and care free to bother with the concepts of "better". Tiger, however, is a furious creature, more so than Dog. This is why Tiger must feed so often, and why time and time again he will try to slay one of the Three Grazers to taste of their ever-filling meat.

- Remove 10 of your oppnent's strike modifier.
- You may spend Gold chi to add damage dice on a one for one basis, similiarly removing minions from play.
- Double all result dice for dispatching minions.

6(2 Boost: Gold, 3 Strike Negate -10, 1 Minion Destroying)

5: Monkey Rides Tiger! (5)

While the concept of such a spectacle is a bit unbelievable, such legend exsists for a reason. Tiger, becoming frustrated with the Three Grazers bamboozled Monkey into helping her attain a chunk of the ever filling meat. Monkey presented himself as a great thinker to Tiger, and Tiger agreed that it was only logical for Monkey to ride her, so that they could add eachother's strength to their own. While the logic was flawed, in was certainly confusing to the Three Grazers at the time when Monkey strode upon Tiger, throwing apples while running by them and eventually resorting to sharpened pointy devices.

- Add your favored Chi modifier to Speed, Attacks, Damage and Cover Ground rolls.
- Disorient your foe on a standard success.

7(5 Strength of Chi Speed/Attack/Damage/Cover Ground Rolls, 4 Standard Success Disorient)Weakness: Furious Charge +2

6: Relentless Snake Bites Horse's Steel Heel(10 points)

Snake is a vengeful being, and Horse has earned his wrath. While on a hunt, Horse was unfortunate enough to tramp on Snakes beautiful tail, leaving it permanently detrimented and ugly. Angry, Snake saught Horse out and bit through the heel that damaged him. Snake's venom spread through Horse's system, burning him on the inside and leaving him blind for two decades. Most vexing to the snake though, Horse was too care free and accepted the new changes. Horse adapted to masochism and began to love being blind. So much so that he gored his eyes on Ox's horns when the affliction left him. Horse's relatives even carry this desire to this day, often requiring them to be blind in high stress situations to keep them from panic.

- Subtract 15 from your opponent's armor.
- On a successful attack, opponent is treated as though he were the next highest wound level. Lasts until the end of the round.
- Snake's venom afflicts a property equal to burning 6
- - 1 Die to opponent's defense roll.
- The venom inflicts a Minor Wood System Weakness. Until it is treated, the foe must act as though blinded, or suffer a minus 1 weakness to his Jade Chi score to a maximum of 2.

11(3 Penetration, 1 Chilling, 2 Standard Success Burning 6, 2 Pressure, 3 Minor Wood System Weakness (Blinded; 2 Pt Maximum Jade)

7: Dragon Breaks the Zodiac(15 points) -

It is no secret to the Zodiac that Dragon is its keeper. It is assigned to take care of it and keep the Zodiac in order. So, the rest of the Zodiac became very aware of the fact that he was coming. Snake had corrupted poor Horse, Dog had captured Rabbit, Rooster was Starving to death, Sheep and Ox were mating, Pig and Monkey had began to fight over a particular coconut.

Dragon came to set what was wrong right. The sky rent beneathe the terror of his liquid movements, the Earth tore where he slithered across it. The normal creatures scattered from his sight, but the Zodiacs knew better than to run and appeared before him, ready to accept their punishment. He ripped their very memories from their skulls and scattered them to eleven different parts of the Earth, only angered that his slumber had been disurbed.

-You may make a secondary attack every round this is active.
-All of your attacks are considered to have Perfect Equipment Shattering.
-You gain Relentless Attacks while you maintain the investment for this technique.
-Any time you deal damage you inflict a full health level of damage and your opponent suffers from the Missing Limb flaw.
-Channel Investment: Invest 5 Chi of Any Color. This technqiue last until you remove your investment.

18(Free Channel, 3 Investment, 3 Secondary attack, 4 Perfect Equipment Shattering, 2 Relentless[Attacks], 6 Horrific Attack) Flaw: +3 Delayed Onset.

Earth Shifting Beneathe Feet
Uncommon Gold Chi Style
The Monk's that call this style their own can be found practicing it high atop a mountain within the Nothern Territories. The earth here is mottled, odd formations forming on the cliff's edges and all from the training the Monks inflict upon the location. This is how the top of the mountain was teraformed flat to fit the massive temple and training grounds. They call this mountain their own and have defended it and the minereal vein that government officials so desparately want with the unbridled abandone of a rock slide.
Brutal(Kicks only)
1(1 Gold): Pebbles Crack the Stone - A technique that gets renoun for the method of training one goes through while learning it, the student stands at the bottom of a slope and learns to quickly dispatch of the rocks that are kicked his way.
*Double Result Dice vs Minions, Add Gold Chi Modifier to Strike and Speed -5 Points-

2(2 Gold): King of the Mountain - The Mountain Emporer Monks are the King's of the Mountain as reflected within their style. It is hard to ignore the confidence they claim when they stand at the apex; and harder still to work up the gull to charge them.
+1 Die on your next Confidence roll within the round, -10 to Opponent's armor, Boost 1 Gold for 1 Damage -6 Points-
3 (3 Gold):
Make an attack out to Medium Range, add +10 to attacks and blocks, lasts for one round -7 Points-
4 (4 Gold): Area attack vs a number of targets equal to favored Chi Rating, Knock Back standard success, +4 Dice of Damage -8 Points-
5 (5 Gold): Add 2 dice to Inspire(Fear) rolls, -10 to opponent's strike, Terrify on a standard success, Add Gold Chi Modifier to Damage Channel - 2 Gold Chi for additional rounds -9-
6 (6 Gold + 4 Any): Make an attack at out to Long Range, Negate all Strike modifiers(positive or negative), Add Gold Chi Modifier to Damage Rolls, Double all Damage Result Dice, Do a Health Level of Damage on top of Inflicting a Missing Limb, +3 Dice to Damage Rolls
Flaw: Delayed Onset

So, here's what making a Kung Fu looks like for Weapons of the Gods. I did that on the fly. Going to make more revisions tomorrow.

Bleach System
Working with the 2e system. These are pretty much just notes for me. This is pretty well just for the Death god side of things. I'll also be dealing with Quincy stuff eventually.

First, I think we should do away with the character creation rule that your two highest virtues equal your willpower. Being gods of Death and all, I think it's reasonable that they start out with a high willpower reguardless of how virtuous they are or are not. Starting Willpower = 6

While on Willpower, I want to add an innate ability. During a meaningful duel, or a proclaimed "shitty situation", as a dramatic affect a willpower point may be spent to channel more than just one virtue for any particular action. As long as it's reasonable, you may channel 2 to all of your virtues.

Essence is now Spirit Force. Motes are now..uh.. Didn't think about that. Spirit Points. Yeah, that sounds okay until I think of something cooler.. Or keep it motes. Democratic vote?

You can only spend as many spirit points per turn as your Stamina. STUNTING increases this capacity for a WHOLE SCENE. Say your stamina is three and you pull off a two dice stunt. You can now spend FIVE SP a turn. The next turn you pull off a one die stunt. You can now spend SIX SP a turn. There is some really awesome potential here when combined with "Techniques."

Charms are Techniques now.
Spells are now Demon seals.

Established Techniques thus far.

OX BODY
Adds health levels. Can be taken multiple times up to your dots in resistance.
Requires: Spirit Force 1 Resistance 1(Haven't decided whether we're going to use Solar Ox Body or Lunar Ox Body yet.)

That's all I have for right now. There are other things brewing, but.

Hey, who's getting Atelier Iris 2: Azoth of Destiny? And who's making azoth jokes in reference to Brian and Haunting Ground? I hope both of those questions I will be answering to yes. Till then, I'll call Brian and just randomly rasp, "AZOTH!" and scream and stuff.

So far, it looks like Mac's game idea is pretty cool. I believe, Mac, you were saying something about Trasmutation being academics and (something I can't remember) being occult. The game looks pretty flexible in terms of ability. Can't wait for some more setting info.

No new developments yet for Bebop. However, I'm losing my drive. I mean, it's a cool concept and all, but then I get to thinkin'... who's gonna play it? I know I'm probably GMing (being that I'm making most of the system), Mac, Stu, and then who else? Plus, it also sounds like a lot of ideas are being thrown around with not enough time to actual put them out into a game. Plus, some of us (mainly me) are gonna be gone from here, unable to play until times like vacations or summer.

So, all I'm saying is, things need to be put into place a little smoother. We should probably check all's schedules and such for appropriate times and things like that.

I have other complaints with other..."people". But, I won't bother with that.
So tell me about things. Any way you can.

Oh, and we may have some issues with Kon stuff. I'm gonna make some calls soon about it.

Here's another one. This one's for the new Joss system I've created.

Now for an entirely new system. I have decided to create a “joss” system. Now, you may be thinking that it's just another shindig from Exalted but mine's different. Every character starts off with one dot of Joss with a maximum of ten. This can be leveled with freebies and/or experience. Joss determines the amount of sheer luck a character possesses. A character rolls his Joss whenever a situation would occur that he has very little chance of surviving or at least being able to complete his task. The GM will call the Joss roll for the standard difficulty. The effect of the Joss will be variable in accordance to the event and the manner of which the character is attempting to cover up his newfound inadequacies. On occasion, with highly dramatic combat sequences, a Joss roll can be called to fire that one lucky shot that decimates the opponent at his weakest moment. The Joss roll can also be used for gambling or any other task that involves chance. Joss rolls can be affected by willpower in some cases. Here's one example of why Joss is good to have in large numbers.

Faye is in a cold alleyway of a Jupiter moon. She faces ten men, all armed with blunt objects. After slipping on her gloves, she enters the fray. With a successful roll of Brawl, she cracks the first with a nice solid kick to the head. However, they begin to swarm and attack in unison. A Joss roll is called, and six dice are rolled. She gets five successes when the GM only expected two. Using this to advance the plot, she's “lucky” enough to have her so-called “Mr. Saxophone” come and sweep her away and cause a diversion with his case and a big stack of rubble. Lucky for Faye to survive with more stunning realizations to come.

This is an excerpt from my compiled rules and rulings about the Bebop game. This particular one refers to the Martial Arts skill revisions.

...I am also placing the Martial Arts skill within the pile. Martial Arts can only be performed in a normal state (no frenzy, etc.). Upon taking a dot in Martial Arts, the character chooses which style he practices (for a list of styles please refer to the Berney). Your style will indicate how your character fights (predominantly just hard or soft). You can choose to learn another style by placing a separate dot in Martial Arts with the surname of a different style. The Martial Arts skill does allow for maneuvers. Your style will relatively dictate what kind of maneuvers you can learn. For the actual rules of the maneuver, contemplate on what you want the maneuver to do, factor in the kind of style you are a practitioner of, your character's personal flair, etc. Essentially, think about it, then come to me if it sounds feasible. Each dot after the first allows one maneuver. You can learn more maneuvers without having to gain another dot, but one must have the proper teacher or similar source and an appropriate level of the Martial Art. In addition, a maneuver learned this way will cost a certain amount of experience. Depending on the level of technique and its effects will cause its cost to go up or down.

Wit:
--I've called you that since the days I just used to call you "funny guy." We watched Eddie Izzard and stood together waiting for the bus.
--You played videogames. We were in your front yard when you told me you relate important memories to the release of videogames. You played videogames and were cool, so I played videogames as well. If ever anything else was suggested, we did it.
--Sydney Lostarot. How many years did I beg you to play? You know I did. It really hurt my whole gaming experience to lose the element that is Wit. I never factored your possessions into your value to me.

Neil:
--You and I did not get to know eachother very well before the Cove seemed to fall apart for me. For the longest time I just assumed you believed whatever your brother does about me. You found your reasons to dislike me and you just tolerated my presence.
--You were always the ideal for us to look up to in martial arts. I was always asking you to teach me tricks. Goodness knows how many manuvers we created between us.
--I loved your crazy-ass mages. All of the power in the universe in a form of martial arts, always cool.
--The Wellness videos were too cool. Our exchange of ass-whoppin' should forever be caught on camera.

Everyone:
--I am truly sorry for whatever it is I did to wrong you, my friends. Only now am I hearing of these things though, and from the wrong mouths. I am a strong-headed, loud, and obsessive fucker and a lot of times I need someone to flat-out tell me something before I get it, voice your opinions. You were not collected under some banner of mine, I sought you out. I need you, people who can put up with my big, hard head. It does not show the best right now, but I care about you all. I have some problems that are eating me up inside and they have taken a great deal if not all of my attention. If you are away from me just feel lucky you do not hear my bitching every day. If you are near, I am sorry I am not strong enough to make more of my day than the pain of my loss.
--My heart beats as with every one of you and it breaks all the same. This is me on my knees, people. Some of you have waited for this and I invite you to cheer as I probably deserve it. Those of you who care, I am not going to make it back to my feet alone-and I will hardly ever be the same. I long for friendship but find it hard to look past my pain. If you can see through this and still want to try, I thank you. I miss us all being happy, if we ever truly were.

-Stuart

Okay. If you didn't see it on my actual journal earlier. I'm calling a Ghost hunt. I'd like all of the members of this to go. At the very least. I haven't determined location yet. I'd like Snyder's cabin to be an option. A big one. We'll be staying in some places for a night. Just so we can get full affect. I'll be borrowing a camera and bringing a notepad and all that.

If you have something of use to bring, say what. Ideas are welcomed, too.
