the milky way streams silver through the night.
i'm in no hurry; with lightning telegrams
i have no cause to wake or trouble you.
and, as they say, the incident is closed.
love's boat has smashed against the daily grind.
now you and i are quits. why bother then
to balance mutual sorrows, pains, and hurts.
behold what quiet settles on the world.
night wraps the sky in tribute from the stars.

the ages, history, and all creation.

I'm a peculiar 22 year old girl of Californian origin who in the past couple of years has lived in four different cities (Santa Cruz, California; Santa Clara, California; Manchester, UK; and Grenoble, France), the last two with my Brit significant other. I just finished my last year at University of California, Santa Cruz studying Linguistics focusing in French and German. I have very strange, delightful and vivid dreams constantly undulating throughout my head. I ponder the most absurd ideas due to my overactive imagination. In life I see not simply one path less traveled, but many of them. I want to explore them all.
Ben, j'suis une fille bizarre de 22 ans et d'origine californienne. En juin 2006, j'suis retournée aux E-U, à la Silicon Valley, après avoir étudié à Grenoble (qui me manque énormément) pendant ma troisième année à l'université. Je viens de terminer mon licence en linguistique et langues à l'Université de Californie à Santa Cruz. En ce moment, je bosse à une petite entreprise qui vend des perles en verre faites en Italie. En décembre, juste après Noël, je déménagerai en Angleterre, au comté Cheshire, où j'habiterai encore avec mon copain anglais. C'est vrai que j'ai des pensées tellement folles. Comme vous verrez, je craque pour les langues, le ciné, les cultures, les ordis, l'histoire, la bouffe (la cuisine mexicaine, chinoise, française, italienne, le vin et le chocolat), etc. De temps en temps j'écris des entrées en français soit quand j'ai un peu de courage, soit quand je bois.
