I don't know about you guys, but I love these kinds of posts and get so much ideas from them (still working my way through the lunch sandwich ideas from a question posted on cheapvegan(lemme know if you want me to find the link, it's bookmarked at home)).
So without further ado: Please share your favorite, delicious and "unusual" food combos. By unusual I mean ways of eating foods people don't usually think of. So basically, new ways of eating old stuff.
To kick things off, here are my three combos that I've been in looove with this week (and was inspired by to write this post):
1) Apple/banana/pb sammiches using apple slices as the bread as seen here. Btw, I can't wait to make everything else from that set.
2) Hummus mixed with a salad of napa cabbage/cabbage/cucumbers/sesame ginger dressing. I've only used hummus as a dip, never as a dressing! Creamy and delicious.
3) Chickpeas mixed with sesame ginger dressing. This was an accidental salad bar fender bender...delicious accident that was.
