By way of history, I'm not terribly interesting... I'm a thirty-six year old man desperately trying to stave off the real world through abject fantasy. I was born to older parents, went to school, foolishly dropped out of college, worked various odd jobs, and landed on my feet after owning a comic book store. Now I work a professional gig in finance in downtown Chicago and have returned to school. Somewhere along the way I was caught in the undertow of the whole Bear movement, and haven't upgraded to post-Bear yet.

I am singularly odd; maybe unique is a bit of self-flattery, but I'm certainly not one for the minivan set. Please be forgiving of my sidereal thinking.

I'm partnered to a wonderful bear, and have been for nearly eight years. Both of us are partnered to a great guy as well. It's all heavenly lunacy, and I'm the most magnificently lucky bastard I know. As time's gone by I've come to realize just HOW lucky I am. I'm just getting around to understanding myself & my motives for the hair-brained things I do. Please stand by.

I'm a geek; read that as you will. Sci-Fi, pen & paper Gaming, miniature painting, computer games, and other social oddities occupy my time.

I am alternately aggressive and beneficient, lusty and chaste, moralistic and debauched, cruel and kind, intelligent and goofy. If that sounds chaotic, it is, but it's simply the way I am.

Currently I'm trying to be a better man. I like to think I succeed on some days.

Anything else? Oh yes. I enjoy sex and find no shame in it. To some that makes me a slut, to others a libertine. However others percieve it, I choose not to be ashamed of my sexuality.
