we_want_roarke

Hi, people! =)
I'm a new (not soooo news, but this is my first time posting) member of the community. My name is Maya and I'm a brazillian 19-years-old girl. Here, the "In Death" series was translated by Editora Bertrand Brasil and till now just the six first books was released. I'm freaking out about the release date of "Holiday In Death" ("Feriado Mortal", how the title was translated), wich is beeing belated since last year. I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED ROARKE! *_*

I'm thinking if I should read it in English. What do you think? Help meeeeee!

Kisses!

May
PS: Forgive for the bad english, I never studied in english schools, I had to learn by myself.

Hi there first time poster, new to LJ and found you all right away!

I so wish that there could be a short story like a flashback from when Eve was at the academy and she was dating Lt.Don Webster. I am so curious how THAT situation happened!

Also I would like to see Nadine have a good relationship. I always liked her, and to see Peabody and McNab get married would be wonderful too! In Scotland!!

I am glad to be here, I LOVE these books and glad to see others do too!

I am just writting to apologize about not updating in a while. I have finished the In Death Series thus far and I will try to post later some In Death questions for you all. I have had a huge family emergency and have not been online for some time. I hope since some things are clearing up that I will be on much more.

Please always feel free to post anything you would like on the community about the series or anything Nora Roberts as well.

Will post again soon.

Pretty much done with the JD Robb books. I have a bit left in the novella Haunted in Death from Bump in the Night. I read on Nora's website that she was not going to release another In Death Book until the end of the year. This sucks. I need my Roarke fix!!!! I am just going to have to find something to pass the time away with now. I will try to update another one of my reviews soon. With the kids it is hard to be online but I will try.

I don't know if this has been posted since it just came out with Nora's newsletter. Angel's Fall (new novel) will be released this summer :) Born in Death's release date was pushed back to November... :(

x-posted to jdrobb and nroberts_jdrobb

The third novel in JD Robb's In Death Series.

"The fatal gift of beauty" - Byron
"Make me immortal with a kiss" - Christopher Marlowe

Amazing story. Great emotional scenes. And an ending to remember. A must read for anyone who hasn't read the story yet.

I'm still trying to make my own icon to represent what I think Roarke looks like but I haven't found anyone who fits the bill. Who do you guys "see" as Roarke, any celebrity in particular?

Just finished Glory in Death yesterday. Can't get enough of this man. Wow Eve is one lucky woman!

I am going to try to work this week and get more of my reviews on the books. It is Spring Break and all the rugrats are home from school and it might impair my ability but I am sure as hell going to give it a shot.

I am now on Survivor In Death. Pretty much just started it but it looks to be promising.

Hope everyone is having happy readings and wonderful sexy dreams of Roarke.

They say opposites attract. Do you believe in that in real life Eve (a no nonsense cop) and Roarke (a former Dublin Thief with questionable morals) would really have the wonderful relationship that they have?

Let me know what you think????
