Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sits out Thursday's practice
Henderson (ankle) wasn't present for Thursday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Henderson has been sidelined for the last 10 days, and while there's been no indication he's dealing with a serious injury, it's starting to get close to the wire for Henderson to play in next Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Seahawks. Henderson will almost certainly need to return to practice before Monday to have a chance to face Seattle. If he can't go in Week 1, Rhamondre Stevenson would get a huge fantasy boost as a surefire RB2 based on volume projection.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Pair of catches in preseason
Hollins wrapped up the preseason slate with two catches (on four targets) for 24 yards in two outings.
When Hollins inked a two-year deal with the Patriots in March 2025, it marked his fifth team in as many seasons. He then managed just seven receptions through the first five games, but from Week 6 through Super Bowl LX, he racked up a 45-637-1 line on 66 targets in 12 appearances, averaging 14.2 yards per catch during that stretch. Even with Stefon Diggs (Commanders) out of the picture this year, Hollins has tougher competition for reps after New England added A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs to a receiving corps that still boasts DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Still awaiting clearance for all activity
Henderson continues to rehab a right ankle injury and hasn't been cleared for full participation in practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Henderson made an early departure from practice last Monday, which has sidelined him in the meantime. Reiss mentioned that Henderson was spotted in the locker room this Tuesday and seemed to be "walking normally," but the Patriots will take it easy on the second-year pro as a Week 1 road showdown with the Seahawks approaches next Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Key part of offense in 2026
Henry is still expected to be a key part of the Patriots offense this season, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
The Patriots made several splashy moves this offseason, including the additions of wideouts A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs, but Henry should remain a frequent target for Drake Maye. The veteran has caught 60 or more passes from the young QB in each of the last two seasons. There's also a lack of experienced options behind him on the tight end depth chart, giving Henry extra job security.
