Sathon, another district in Bangkok, is considered CBD (Central Business District), where there are several headquarters and embassies. The notable tourist spots are the following; Wat Yannawa: The ancient temple was built during the time of the Ayutthaya Kingdom in the reign of King Rama II. It was formerly known as Wat Khok Kwai. The temple's most distinctive feature is the pagoda built in the shape of a junk vessel of its actual size. Wat Yannawa is conveniently located on the Chao Phraya River, near the Saphan Taksin BTS. Inside the temple, there are relics that are spiritual anchors for the Buddhists, Dharma books, and a statue in a relaxing atmosphere. The House on Sathorn: It is one of Thailand's preserved buildings, located on North Sathorn Road, Si Lom, Bang Rak, Bangkok. The building was built in 1889 by Luang Sathorn Rajayut (Yom), a wealthy construction contractor in Phra Nakhon. Currently, this building has been renovated to be a beautiful hotel.
