Michael, we apologize and we've certainly made the team aware. No harm was intended, we're just trying to get fuel to customers that desperately need it.

Full parking lots in each district this morning ready to relieve overnight crews and many trucks were already gone when these were taken. We are hosting crews from up and down the east coast - all eager to help us get back on our feet. 400+ personnel on the ground today.

And with that….ALL Helene related outages have been repaired. It’s been quite the journey and one that certainly isn’t over for our area but we thank you for the patience, grace and unwavering support along the way. We want to personally thank all of the people who’ve followed

Drones have played an important role in helping us survey damage quickly and know what lies ahead for our crews. Drones can turn an hour (or hour"s") of hiking into an assessment that takes just a few minutes, especially in rugged terrain. - Approximately 6,100 members remain

A clip of our lineman restoring power after a pole was broken by a fallen tree near Dudley Shoals Rd. Crews have battled tough conditions today. From gusty winds & low wind chills to driving snow & sleet - they’re a dedicated group and we’re proud of their work. #thankalineman

This broken pole near Hound Ears in Watauga County is an example of the type of damage we’ve seen across our service territory today. High winds have taken a toll on trees outside of right-of-way areas and our poles. Crews will be continuing work throughout the night!
