I am not sure if this community is still active, or if X-Men Movieverse fandom is active anymore, but I have been on a writing jag lately and wanted to share.
Title: The Wily Odysseus Author: Rachel_Martin64 Pairings: Jean Grey/Scott Summers; Jean Grey/Logan; Rogue/Scott Summers; Logan/Rogue; Ororo Munroe & Scott Summers; Emma Frost/Warren Worthington III; Emma Frost & Scott Summers; Bobby Drake & Scott Summers Characters: Scott Summers, Logan, Jean Grey, Rogue, Ororo Munroe, Warren Worthington III, Bobby Drake, Charles Xavier, Emma Frost, Jean Grey as the Phoenix Overall Rating: Mature Word Count: 20,000 (12 chapters) This story is not finished. Warnings: Sexist language Summary: All outcomes are acceptable. After Liberty Island, a machiavellian and possibly insane Scott solves his Logan problem for once and for all. This is X1, and immediately after X1, with many references to the later movies. There’s a lot of worldbuilding in this story -- my ideas of how the school and team operate and how the residents of the mansion interact with each other.

Pairing: Scott Summers x Reader (post-XMA) Characters: Scott Summers, Jubilation Lee, Kurt Wagner, Jean Grey, Professor Xavier. A cameo or two with Hank McCoy and Peter Maximoff. Overall Rating: MA (with a slow build, this part is PG-13) Words: 1768 Warnings: zero, zip, zilch, nada.
“… She tries to discern the faces of the ones she will soon battle, when she spots that familiar yellow jacket. It has always been her trademark. Then it only takes a couple of seconds before she also notices him. The glint of his visor is almost blinding to her sight and it makes her heart beat faster. Hovering above her former best friend and high school sweetheart brings back more memories than she could have possibly imagined. The familiarity of their faces makes her wonder whether their hearts sometimes ache for a time when circumstances were simpler, when life was easier and their bonds were still strong…”
A retrospective look at how meaningful relationships were formed, then grew deep, and eventually fell to pieces.

Summary:[POST APOC] Peter Maximoff doesn't know how to stay still. But now that he is a student at the Xavier Institute, he's gonna have to behave a bit. The main problem is that in order to bond with his father, the speedster will have to choose between his usual foolishness and terrorism – because you can't change who Magneto really is, no matter how hard you want to. Smooth stuff ahead! |

The Heart's Landscape (133K words, complete) by F.A. MacNeil Fandom: X-Men & Alpha Flight Rating: Teen and Up Category: Gen, a very slow-burning M/M in the background Characters: OCs, Alpha Flight team, Charles Xavier, Faiza Hussain, brief appearances by Jean Grey, Cyclops and Wolverine Summary:
Canadian superheroes, or not. In Montreal, two small-time mutant activists contend with bureaucratic humiliations, government agents headhunting mutants for a new department, and a sketchy neurological research centre. What they discover isn't pretty.
This story is a re-imagining of Alpha Flight, but you really only need to be broadly familiar with the X-Men end of the Marvel universe to follow what's going on.

Summary: Rogue's world turned upside down at a school dance when she accidentally absorbed a star quarterback and discovered she was a mutant with an awful gift. When Xavier and his team of do-gooders came chasing after her with shiny happy recruitment speeches, she chose instead to make a deal with her adopted mothers, and won two years of freedom studying art and adjusting to her mutation in New York City. But Mystique's come up against a dangerous deadline, and even if she has to hire a couple less-than reputable members of the Thieves' Guild to kidnap Rogue, she's getting her daughter back. Now.

But when they are attacked by a vicious young mutant with more power than he's ever seen, can the risk of trying to tame her be worth the cost?
