We never post in here... What happened to all of our awesome ideas? Okay, so here's mine: if I could find someone brilliant enough to manufacture it, I would like to create a device that mutes people for real. I mean, there's got to be some frequency or something when, projected at the throat, silences vocal chords. I can think of a million situations where one might need such a device. At first it could be marketed to teachers and parents, but then a broader market could be brought in. It would have to be closely watched and maintained to prevent abuse. In fact, you'd probably have to apply for a license or some such like with guns because it could be a very powerful device that would be used improperly. Still, I as the inventor, I would have one at all times and use it whenever necessary, like, oh, say, a movie theater, or to silence that one obnoxious bitch that always has something to say in class and thinks she's the teacher already.
