
ADLER 1 [WF]
ADLER 1 (Austrian Debris Detection Low Earth (orbit) Reconnoiter) is an Austrian In-Orbit Demonstration of space debris detection from a 3U CubeSat using multiple sensors. It is developed by SPIRE and WF (stereichisches Weltraum Forum , Austrian Space Forum) in partnership with FINDUS Venture GmbH.
The ADLER-1 satellite is based on Spire Global's Lemur-2 cubesat and features customized experiments instead of the standard Lemur payload.
The satellite carries two Instruments:
ADLER 1 was launched in January 2022 on a shared LauncherOne rocket.
