Cal-Sat (P-11 4416)

Cal-Sat [USAF]

The Cal-Sat satellite was built on the P-11 series bus and carried several antennas that the government wanted to test and calibrate on orbit.

The satellite was not launched as the USAF became satisfied with the anechoic chamber results and cancelled the contract. The spacecraft ended up on display in the Smithsonian Museum in DC.
