DS-EO [DSTA]

DS-EO is a Singaporean Earth Observation satellite.

ST Engineering and the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) have partnered with ST Engineering to acquire an Electro-Optic satellite from the South Korean SATRECI for launch in 2022. The satellite called DS-EO has higher resolution and multispectral imaging. It will meet the needs of Singapore agencies, such as for maritime security and oil spill detection, and allow ST Engineering to enhance their commercial imagery services.

DS-EO carries an electro-optical multi-spectral payload with 0.5 m resolution imaging capability.
