Ekspress-AM 22 [RSCC]

The Ekspress-AM 22 ia a communications satellite for Russian domestic communication services. The lifetime of the spacecraft has been increased to 12 years. While the spacecraft itself is built by Russian RSCC (Kosmicheskiya Svyaz), the communication payloads are built by Alcatel.

12 Ku-band transponders (referred to as SESAT 2) are leased to Eutelsat by the RSCC.
