Geoskan 6 (Geoscan 6)

Geoskan 6 (also transcribed Geoscan 6) is a Russian 3U CubeSat technology demonstration satellite from GK Geoskan.

Along with a gamma spectrometer that was co-developed by Geoscan and the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Geoscan-6 is outfitted with two Cyclop survey cameras. While information from the gamma spectrometer will allow for the localization of gamma-ray bursts and offer insights into specific cosmic processes, camera photos will be sent to Earth via amateur radio bands.
