Telesat LEO 3 is a demonstration satellite that will provide continuity for customer and ecosystem vendor testing campaigns following the decommissioning of Telesat’s Phase 1 Telesat LEO 1 satellite.

The 30 kg satellite was built by UTIAS Space Flight Laboratory (SFL) based on their Defiant bus.
