
PTS-RP [Northrop Grumman]
PTS-RP (Protected Tactical Satcom - Rapid Prototype) is a planned satellite to demonstrate Northrop Grumman's Protected Tactical SATCOM Prototype (PTS-RP) payload as a precursor to the Protected Tactical SATCOM Resilient (PTS-R) satellites.
The PTS-RP design features automated anti-jam capabilities, including jammer geolocation, real-time adaptive nulling, frequency hopping and other techniques, harnessing the power of the U.S. militarys Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) to ensure the warfighter can stay connected in a contested environment.
