
Saudisat 5 [KACST]
SaudiSat 5A and 5B are two Saudi-Arabian earth observation and technology demonstration satellites developed by the KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology).
Saudisat 5 satellites feature a regionally optimized hyper-spectral imaging system. They are a replacement for Saudisat 2 and Saudisat 3.
Both SaudiSat 5 were launched by a Chinese CZ-2D (2) rocket.
