TacSat 6 was an experimental 3U cubesat built by the US Army SMDC for the ORS Office.

The mission demonstrated nanosatellite communication capabilities.

TacSat 6 was launched with a cluster of other Cubesats as a secondary payload on an Atlas-5(501).
