Tianzhi 2D is an experimental Chinese software-defined micro-satellite developed by Hangsheng Satellite and the Software Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is dedicated to the on-orbit verification and shared application of key technologies of software-defined optical remote sensing satellites.
The satellite has a mass of 19 kg.
Tianzhi 2D was launched in 2023 on a CZ-2D (2) rocket.
