The Bayerische Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg's UWE-4 (University of Würzburg's Experimental) satellite will demonstrate the application of electric propulsion for attitude and orbit control in the 1U CubeSat class by employing the NanoFEEP (Nano Field Effect Electric Propulsion) thrusters developed by TU (Technical University) Dresden.

UWE 4 was launched in 2018 on a Russian Soyuz-2-1a Fregat rocket into a solar synchronous orbit.
