
XJY 7 [HEO]
XJY 7 (Xinjishu Yanzheng) is a Chinese satellite of unknown purpose.
According to the launch animation, the satellite appears to be an SAR satellite. Later it was imaged in space by HEO, which confirmed the configuration as a SAR satellite with a deployable dish antenna.
The satellite was launched in December 2020 on the maiden flight of the CZ-8 (1). The satellite reentered in October 2025.
