
ZX 26 [CAST]
ZX 26 (Zhongxing 26, ChinaSat 26) is a Chinese communications satellite based upon a DFH-4E bus.
The Chinasat 26 is China's first high-throughput satellite with a capacity of over 100 Gbps.
It mainly provides high-speed broadband network communications and Internet access services for aviation, navigation, emergency, universal services, energy, forestry and grassland industries. The Ka -band high-throughput communication payload designed on the satellite mainly covers the entire territory of China and surrounding waters, parts of Russia, Southeast Asia, Mongolia, Japan, Indonesia, India, the Indian Ocean and other regions.
The satellite was manufactured by CAST and was launched onboard a CZ-3B/G2 launch vehicle on 23 February 2023.
