The Doris Prospect was located near the headwaters of the North Fork of the Sultan River. Two veins were explored, both on the SW side of the river. Workings consisted of several short adits, the longest two being around 200' each. The veins were somewhat brecciated and up 30" wide in faults in Quartzite and Hornfels. There is no production credited to the prospect.
Structure: Wnw Trending Fractures.
Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc
Deposit: High grade ore shoot in northwest trending fault. Mineralized fault zone. Other attitudes given for deposit is n34e, 70ne small pods of rich chalcopyrite ore but no evidence that a minable ore body exists. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: Access to property difficult because of steep topography
