The Hill-Ledford Mine operated by the Ozark-Mahoning Company from the late 1950’s into the 1970’s (Denny et al., 2013). The mineralization was in an oval collapsed breccia in the Aux Vases Sandstone. It is thought to be formed by dissolution and mineralization within a “feeder Pipe”. The vertical displacement of the breccia is about 75 feet (Brecke, 1962).
