Ancient copper mines, working a group N-S to NNW-SSE trending quartz-baryte veins hosted in the contact zone of a white mica granite with lower Carbonian schists and greywackes. The granite in the vicinity of the veins is strongly altered and disseminated by aplite veins with black tourmaline and adularia.
The age of the mines is unknown. They certainly were worked during the 16th century, but probably started much earlier.
