Locality: 8 km north of Northampton.

This un-marked mine is just west of the North West Coastal Highway, and two kilometres north east of the location of Alma, which is nothing more than a hall. The mine can be glimpsed from the road and is on private property. There are two collapsed shafts, rusting mining equipment, and some rubbish. It is closely associated with the Baddera Mine to the east, which processed the ore from Gurkha.

A shear zone 1.8 metres thick, dipping 60-70 degrees west is found in gneiss. Mining has extended 150 metres along the shear and to a depth of 75 metres. Said to contain lenses of solid galena, up to 0.6 metres thick in silica, and some barite, sphalerite, marcasite and pyrite. Ni values have also been reported.

The mine was active in 1899, then 1952-1961 producing 34 500 tonnes of lead, and 18 600 g of silver.
