Located in the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 23. T46N R30W.
Discovered 1884 by A.A. Rouse. Marquette Mica Mining Company formed 1885. No production recorded. Sampled during a strategic minerals survey during World War II. A few flakes of molybdenite were noted, but no economic quantities were found.
