Mina La Reforma, El Pinar de Bédar, Bédar, Almeria, Andalucia, España

Small lead mine located on the Las Norias ravine (or Los Gallardos ravine), on the track from the road Bédar to Los Gallardos to the urbanization of Pinar de Bédar, in the municipality of Bédar. Although there are remains of older works, which may correspond to the eighteenth century, the main exploitation work was carried out by the "Compañía de Águilas" in the nineteenth century. Galena and various secondary minerals are found, including the rare association of strontianite and hemimorphite microcrystals.
