A gold mine on the south side of Prichard Creek just west of Murray. The mine was primarily a lode deposit but had some placer workings nearby that may have operated separately. It worked two veins in Prichard argillite above a footwall of quartzite. Most of the production came from the north vein. The north vein consisted of a reddish clay-like material containing fragments of quartz with sulfides. The best ore was found in portions of the vein that were more intact massive quartz. The strange consistency of the vein may have been due to previous landslides. It was developed by 3 adits and a mill.
