Cluster of silver and lead-zinc mines. Mining in the field closed in 1927 when the Chillagoe smelter closed.

Note: Muldiva was previously shown under Tablelands Region when Mareeba Shire was amalgamated with three other shires (Atherton, Eacham and Herberton) to form the Tablelands Region in 2008.

Mareeba Shire de-amalgamated from the Tablelands Region with effect from 1 January 2014. Accordingly, Muldiva and nearby mines should now be shown as being in Mareeba Shire.
