An old quarry worked in the 1930's for marble.

Albert Biederman operated a quarry in medium- to coarse-grained, crystalline, calcium limestone to obtain stone for making lime. The quarry, which is on the slope of a hill, is 225 feet long and 45 feet wide, trends S. 300*W., and is 25 feet deep at the face. An overhead trestle leads to the top of the kiln 125 feet from the mouth of the quarry. (ARV53)
