Köppen climate type:
Skarn-ore Pb-Zn deposit.
In Bulgaria "mine" is usually used as an exploration-administrative term and not always coincides with the name of the ore deposit. Concerning this case, Septemvri mine includes the following deposits: Sharenka, Baram, Mogilata, Osikovo and Pechinsko.
It is important to know that there was a change in the name of this mine:
- from the beginning of exploration at 1953 to 1989 the name was Deveti Septemvri mine (9th of September mine in English)
- from 1989 until now the name is Septemvri mine (September mine in English).
