Around the "Twin Lakes Cabin" near Twin Sisters Mountain andesine occurs in veinlets cutting green diopside.

Note: it appears this locality may be erroneously placed. There is no "Twin Lakes" around Sisters Mountain marked on the USGS topo maps, but there is a "Three Lakes". In Whatcom County, there is a cabin near a "Twin Lakes" near the Canadian Border which may mean that the "Twin Sisters Mountain" designation is wrong.
