Důl Pepř
The Pepř mine was the most important mine in the last period of mining in the Jílové district in 1939–1968.
At the depth of 150 m, the Pepř mine was connected to the Bohuliby mine.
The maximum depth was 300m.
An ore mill was built near the Pepř mine that produced 1.2 t of gold between 1958 and 1968.
The mine was started in 1830 and was closed in 1968.
The dumps of the Pepř mine are one of the few remaining places to collect minerals in the Jílové district - sporadic occurrence of quartz - calcite veins with gold and tellurides.
The mine is accessible by the Václav adit, now operating by Montanika z.s.
It is possible to visit the mine and collect specimens with sporadically occurring gold and tellurides on the main Šlojíř vein.
