A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag mine located in NE¼SE¼ sec. 8, T13S, R9E, 3 miles SE of Waterman Peak, on state land. Operated in 1956. Operated by the Apex Mine and Development Co.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in clastic sedimentary rocks. Alteration includes oxidation.
Local structures include Paleozoic fault blocks.
