Granite pegmatite. A small feldspar prospect near the Ivedal farm in Iveland in the southern part of Norway.
Visited by Schetelig in 1912, and the locality was already heavy overgrown when Bjørlykke visited it in 1931.
Bjørlykke locality nr 20.

| ⓘ Keiviite-(Y) ? Formula: Y2Si2O7 Colour: metamict Description: It is a high probabality that the metamict mineral that has been described from the pegmatites of Evje-Iveland area as thalenite-(Y), in fact is keiviite-(Y)
(ref: Neumann 1985, p 157 + pers. commentary Gunnar Raade 1988). Nilssen (1971) shows that the pattern of the heated metamict "thalenites" from Högetveit corresponds to beta-Y2Si2O7 |
| ⓘ Magnetite Formula: Fe2+Fe3+2O4 |
| ⓘ Microcline Formula: K(AlSi3O8) |
| ⓘ Muscovite Formula: KAl2(AlSi3O10)(OH)2 |

(ref: Neumann 1985, p 157 + pers. commentary Gunnar Raade 1988) |
| ⓘ Thortveitite ? Formula: Sc2Si2O7 |
| ⓘ ' Formula: Y4(Si,H4)4O12-x(OH)4+2x Description: Descredited by IMA 2016. A re-examination of original material shows that all samples are heterogeneous, and hence not constituted by a single mineral (IMA Proposal 16-K) |
| ⓘ Xenotime-(Y) Formula: Y(PO4) |
| ⓘ Yttrialite-(Y) Formula: (Y,Th)2Si2O7 Habit: masses Colour: Dark reddish brown, metamict Description: Surrounded by biotite and partly covered by a thick crust of tengerite-(Y). Very difficult to distinguish from keiviite-(Y)( formerly thalenite-(Y)) in handspecimen References: |
| ⓘ Zircon Formula: Zr(SiO4) |
| ⓘ Zircon var. Alvite Formula: Zr(SiO4) |
