This limestone quarry and industrial center, operated by Tecnovia S.A. since 1987, is located in Quinta da Senhora da Luz, in the municipality of Rio Maior, about 4 km west of Rio Maior.
Lithology: limestones, belonging to the formations of the "Maciço Calcário Estremenho" of Jurassic age: Middle Jurassic (Dogger) and Upper Jurassic (Malm).
