The White Violet deposit is approximately 500 metres south south-west of the Bonya Mine.

The site contains several large trenches, and extensive surface secondary copper (malachite, chrysocolla, azurite) across a length of 200 metres (Rox Resources).

Patchy scheelite is associated with quartz-garnet-epidote rock, bounded by andalusite-biotite-quartz-amphibolite highly bleached schist.

Ivanac states it is a 300 metre long skarn zone, 0.3 metres wide at the northern end grading up to 25 metres wide at the southern end, all hosted by andalusite schist. Within the skarn zone are four types of rock. The northern section is dominated by garnet-amphibolite rock, with the rest of the zone containing quartz-garnet-epidote, marble, and epidote calc-silicate rock. Scheelite is found from microscopic grains to 2 cms in diameter, mainly in the calc-silicate rock, averaging 0.5 cms in diameter.

Marble is also found as two isolated outcrops at the northern end of the skarn zone, the largest outcrop being 25 x 10 metres. The second outcrop is enclosed by andalusite schist, and contains no mineralisation. He also states there is trace copper mineralisation at the northern end of the skarn, mainly on the southern side.

Ransom states scheelite at White Violet is mainly associated with amphibolite and the calc-silicate rock, as well as joints, and finely disseminated in the marble. The amphibolite is blue suggesting riebeckite or hastingsite. The garnets are dark brown, zoned with lighter exteriors. Tremolite and sphalerite is common in the marble. Scapolite is also noted at the deposit.
