Vein-type tungsten-molybdenum deposit, hosted in muscovite granite.
The Reshui complex can be divided into three successive units: medium-fine grained porphyritic biotite granite, medium-fine grained two-mica granite, and fine-grained muscovite granite. The biotite and two-mica granite make up nearly 80 percent of the outcrop area, while the latest muscovite granite is associated with large-scale and relatively low grade of tungsten mineralization. The average grade of greisen-type ore is 0.15 wt% of WO3, mainly composed of wolframite (34.49 vol%) and scheelite (62.90 vol%). The orebody is concealed at the top of granitic pluton and occurs as lenticular and layered shape. The estimated dimensions of the ore field are approximately 1500 m in length and 500 m in width, with a thickness greater than 500 m.
